As the high elves fought for their lives against the trolls' fierce onslaught, the scattered, nomadic humans of Lordaeron fought to consolidate their own tribal lands. The tribes of early humanity raided each other's settlements with little heed for racial unification or honor. Yet one tribe, known as the Arathi, saw that the trolls were becoming too great a threat to ignore. The Arathi wished to bring all of the tribes under its rule so that they could provide a unified front against the troll warbands.

General Information

rathi Basin, located in Arathi Highlands, is a fast and exciting Battleground. The Basin itself is rich with resources and coveted by both the Horde and the Alliance. The Forsaken Defilers and the League of Arathor have arrived at Arathi Basin to wage war over these natural resources and claim them on behalf of their respective sides. The League of Arathor seek to reclaim lost lands for their benefactors in Stormwind, while the Defilers - elite troopers under the watchful eye of Varimathas - seek to sever the vital connection between the Humans and their Dwarven allies to the south. Reputation Rewards

s you fight for your faction in Arathi Basin, you can gain Honor Points and gain Arathi Basin tokens which can be used to purchase special rewards. There are two special vendor NPCs, one for Horde and one for Alliance, standing outside of their respective entrance to Arathi Basin. These two NPCs sell special rewards. Remember that these rewards are in addition to the general PVP Honor Rewards you earn by gaining Honor Points.
